Neutrogena Hydro Boost Line

Recommended: Yes

Summary: An affordable must have for the winter months and a must try for those that have dry skin. Skin care line includes cleansers, moisturizers, sun protection and makeup which provides hydration to skin. Products I use is listed in the “Estimated Price Range” below.

Pros:

  • No doubt the Hydrogel works; first used in the dead of last winter and it was a WOW feeling.
  • Skin is smoother, less blotchy, and pores appear smaller using the Cleansing Gel and Hydrating Serum on a regular basis.
  • Non-greasy, non-sticky, and easy rinse off with no tightness after patting dry.
  • Serum and Eye Gel are quick drying.

Cons:

  • The cost of the eye cream and serum are a little high.
  • Eye Gel adds hydration; does not improve dark circles or wrinkles.

Estimated Price Range: Cleansing Gel and Exfoliating Cleanser $10/each; Hydrogel mask $3.50; Gel-Cream Eye and Hydrating Serum $23/each. I typically purchase from Walmart or Target (cheapest); also have purchased at Walgreens.

Additional Findings:
Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost site which will provide all the products available.

Found on the SelfExplanatori blog, she highly recommends the products but states, “some of the products have fragrance…have not had any breakouts from these products.”

On Natalie’s My Little Secrets blog, she has great close-up pictures of the products.
